Client Contribution
£2145.00 Per Calendar Month (£495 weekly)
plus "facility top up" if applicable
Top Up:
En-suite facility: £164.66 per calendar month (£38.00 weekly)
Ground Floor Facility: £164.66 per calendar month (£38.00 weekly)
Payment to be via standing order - Due on 1st of each Calendar month
Attendance Allowance: (additional grant from central government)
Subject to Assessment by the attendance allowance board
(this grant is paid directly to the resident and can be used to offset the above client contribution)
NHS Contributions
Should the resident qualify, this is paid directly to the home and forms part of the homes total fee.
(N.B This contribution does not go towards the client contribution)

Residents Contract
The terms of the Residents contract are as follows:
ARONEL COTTAGE - RESIDENT’S CONTRACT
This Agreement is made between:
- ............................... ("The Resident")
- ............................... ("The Agent")
- Julian Trevor Hitchcock of Aronel Cottage, 5-11, Highfield Road, Bognor Regis ("the Proprietor" which definition includes any subordinate to whom responsibility should be delegated from time to time).
Whereby:
The Proprietor has agreed to provide accommodation and care for the Resident at Aronel Cottage ("the Home").
Residence and Payment of Fees
- The Home will endeavour to meet the personal needs of its residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence, and to operate in accordance with the standards accepted by the Registration and Inspection Authorities and within the terms of the Home’s brochure.
- Fees charged are in accordance with the Homes’ Fees’ Structure.
- Any part of the day of arrival or departure constitutes one full day’s board.
- The first four weeks after admission shall be regarded as a trial period, whereupon a formal reassessment may be carried out.
- Should the Resident be absent for a period of more than two weeks, then a reduced fee of 80% of normal charge will be levies.
- In special circumstances, following full discussion with the Resident and/or the Agent, the Home reserves the right to move residents between rooms.
- A charge may be made for any damage caused by the Resident, outside of reasonable fair wear and tear.
- The Home shall have no liability for loss or damage suffered by the Resident to his belongings except to the extent to which such a loss or damage is covered by the Home’s insurance.
- Notice of termination of residency is four weeks. In the event of death a charge will be made for the day of death plus two days. On the third day thereafter, the Home is entitled to move the Resident’s belongings. If an overpayment of fees has been made, the appropriate proportion will be refunded by the Home.
- The Proprietor may give four weeks’ notice terminating the Agreement and requiring that the Resident leave the Home, in the following circumstances:
- Failure to comply with any term of this Agreement.
- If, having taken appropriate advice, the Home is unable to meet the future, specialist care needs of the Resident.
(e.g. long term psychiatric care).
- Any behaviour which the Proprietor feels may be detrimental to the Home or welfare of other residents.
- No variation or alteration of the above written conditions shall be of any effect unless it shall have been previously agreed in writing.
By signature of this Agreement the Resident/Agent agrees to be bound by its terms and conditions and acknowledges receipt of a copy of this Agreement, Fees’ Structure and Home’s brochure
